My mother read this book as a child - 1910 or so - and found a copy of it for me and I read it to my children - who loved it!! They're now in their 50s. I bought this for a friend who has twin granddaughters and I thought they'd love it, too. Great book - good books never age out!
A favorite with all my sons in the 1960's and one of them requested his own copy as his older brother took the original. And now a favorite with my grandchildren!!!
The books appear much to me to be the same as the other that looses their appeal with repetition.
This is a fun book that many generations of children have enjoyed. It can be read to all ages and read by confident young readers. The cover and pages are actually slanted, not with 90° corners!
One of first creatively formatted books. Old, but still a good read.
My sister wanted these books that my mother had (Mom's were the originals). So cool and so silly. Fun to enjoy. Adults or kids.
